Tenders, RFPs, and grant opportunities are often published across many different websites, such as government procurement portals, agency and municipality pages, and organizations that post bids on their own sites. ChangeTower monitors these pages for you and notifies you when a new opportunity appears.
Step 1: List the pages where opportunities are posted
Collect the URLs of the pages that list open bids, for example:
Procurement portal listing pages
"Bids and RFPs" or "Current solicitations" pages on agency websites
Grant and funding opportunity pages
Tip: If a portal lets you filter opportunities by category or region, apply the filters first and check whether the URL changes. If it does, monitor the filtered URL so you only track relevant bids.
Step 2: Add your pages
In the left navigation menu, click on New Monitor. Use single-page monitoring for one site, or Monitor Multiple Pages to add many sites at once with the same criteria. Our guide to importing URLs walks you through it.
Step 3: Choose how opportunities are detected
Smart Monitor – describe the opportunities you're looking for. Read our Smart Monitor guide to learn how to set it up. For example:
Notify me when a new tender, RFP, or bid is posted
Notify me when a new RFP related to IT services or construction is posted
Notify me when the deadline for an open bid is extended
Keyword change monitoring – track specific words or phrases, such as the services you offer.
Step 4: Customize monitor details
In the Details section, you can:
Add tags by region, agency, or service line
Set the monitoring frequency so you never miss a short submission window
Enable or disable email alerts
Step 5: Track opportunities with your team
Use notification states such as "Reviewing", "Bidding", and "Passed"
Send notifications to a Slack channel so your bid team sees new opportunities right away

Create monitors right from your browser
Found a new agency or procurement page while researching? With the ChangeTower Chrome extension, you can set up a monitor without leaving the page. Click the ChangeTower icon in your browser toolbar and describe what to watch for, for example "Notify me when a new RFP is posted on this page."
