Recruiters and business development teams use ChangeTower to watch client and prospect career pages, so they know about new openings as soon as they're posted, often before roles appear on job boards.
Step 1: Find the right page to monitor
Use the page that lists all open roles, not an individual job posting. Many companies host their job listings on a separate careers site or applicant tracking system, so check where the "View open positions" link leads and use that URL.
Tip: If a careers page lets you filter roles by location or department, apply the filters first and check whether the URL changes. If it does, monitor the filtered URL so you only track the roles you care about.
Step 2: Create a Smart Monitor
In the left navigation menu, click on New Monitor, then select Smart Monitor. In the 'Notify me when' section, describe the roles you care about. For example:
Notify me when a new job posting is added
Notify me when a new engineering or sales role is posted
Notify me when a new role is posted in London or a remote role is added
You'll only be notified when a change matches your criteria, not when unrelated parts of the page change. Read our Smart Monitor guide to learn more.
Step 3: Monitor many companies at once (optional)
If you're tracking a list of clients or target accounts, use New Monitor > Monitor Multiple Pages to import all their career pages with the same criteria. Our guide to importing URLs walks you through it.
Step 4: Customize monitor details
In the Details section, you can:
Add tags by client, industry, or recruiter so each person can filter their own accounts
Set the monitoring frequency
Enable or disable email alerts
Step 5: Get new roles in front of your team
Send notifications to a Slack channel so your team can act quickly
Use notification states such as "Contacted" or "Not a fit" to track follow-up

Create monitors right from your browser
