ChangeTower integrates directly with Slack. Once you connect your Slack workspace and choose a default channel, you can turn on Slack alerts for any monitor, and every detected change is posted to that channel.
Step 1: Open Workspace Settings
In ChangeTower, go to Settings from the left navigation menu and open Workspace Settings.
Step 2: Connect Slack to ChangeTower
Follow the prompts to allow ChangeTower to post to your Slack workspace.
Step 3: Choose a default channel
Select the Slack channel where ChangeTower alerts should be posted. This becomes the default channel for Slack notifications in your workspace.
Step 4: Turn on Slack alerts for a monitor
When creating a monitor, open the Details section and enable the Slack integration.
Step 5: Receive notifications in Slack
From now on, whenever ChangeTower detects a change on that monitor, a notification is posted to your Slack channel. Anyone in the channel can see it.
Good to know
Slack alerts are turned on per monitor, so you decide which monitors post to Slack.
For monitors you've already created, edit the monitor and enable the Slack integration in its Details section.
