Public companies share important updates on their investor relations (IR) pages and in their SEC filings. ChangeTower lets you monitor these pages for the companies you follow, whether that's your competitors, peer group, or portfolio, and get notified when something new is posted.
Step 1: Choose the pages to monitor
For each company you follow, common pages include:
IR news and press release pages
Events and presentations pages
Quarterly results and financial reports pages
Leadership, board, and governance pages
The company's filings page on SEC EDGAR
Step 2: Add your pages
In the left navigation menu, click on New Monitor. Use single-page monitoring for one company, or Monitor Multiple Pages to add the same type of page for your whole peer group at once. Our guide to importing URLs walks you through it.
Step 3: Create a Smart Monitor
Select Smart Monitor and, in the 'Notify me when' section, describe the updates you care about. For example:
Notify me when a new earnings release or investor presentation is posted
Notify me when a new 8-K or 10-Q is filed
Notify me when there's a change to the executive team or board of directors
Notify me when a new investor event or earnings call date is announced
Read our Smart Monitor guide to learn more about writing criteria.
Step 4: Customize monitor details
In the Details section, you can:
Add tags by company, sector, or peer group
Set the monitoring frequency
Enable or disable email alerts
Step 5: Share updates with your team
Send notifications to a Slack channel so your team sees updates right away
Use webhooks to send updates into your research database or internal tools
Use notification states to mark updates as reviewed
Create monitors right from your browser
Looking at a company's investor relations page? With the ChangeTower Chrome extension, you can set up a monitor without leaving the page. Click the ChangeTower icon in your browser toolbar and describe what to watch for, for example "Notify me when a new investor presentation is posted."
