Most monitors check a page at a fixed interval, such as every day or every hour. With a custom schedule, you choose exactly when a monitor runs, for example, only on weekdays, or at specific times of day.
When to use a custom schedule
The page updates at a known time, such as a daily price update or a weekly job posting.
You only care about changes during business hours or on business days.
You want checks to line up with when your team reviews alerts.
Step 1: Open the monitor's Details section
When creating a monitor, open the Details section. For an existing monitor, open it from your monitor list, click Edit in the Actions menu dropdown, and go to the Details tab.
Step 2: Choose a custom schedule
Under Monitoring frequency, choose the option to create a custom schedule instead of a fixed interval.
Step 3: Set the days and times
Select the days the monitor should run and the times checks should happen.
Step 4: Save the monitor
Click Create for a new monitor, or save your changes for an existing one. The monitor now shows Custom as its monitoring frequency in the Monitors table, and the Next run column shows when the next check will happen.
Good to know
Scheduled times follow your workspace timezone, which you can change in Workspace Settings. Check it before setting up your schedule.
You can still run a check at any time with Run Now, including for several monitors at once.
