The monitoring frequency decides how often ChangeTower checks a page for changes. You choose it when you create a monitor, and you can change it whenever you like.

While creating a monitor, open the Details section and choose how often the page should be checked.

Changing the frequency on an existing monitor
Open the monitor from your monitor list and click the Edit button in the Actions menu dropdown. This will open the monitor edit flow. Go to the Details tab and pick a new frequency. The new schedule applies from the next check onward.
Which frequency should I choose?
Check often for pages where timing matters and you need to act quickly, such as prices, stock availability, or bid deadlines.
Check less often for pages that rarely change, such as legal, policy, or disclosure pages. A slower schedule means fewer alerts to review, and the change is still recorded when it happens.
If you're not sure, start with a middle option and adjust once you see how often that page actually changes.
Good to know
Checking a page more often doesn't mean more alerts. You're only notified when something actually changes, or when a change matches your Smart Monitor criteria.
If a page changes several times between checks, ChangeTower compares the latest version with the previous snapshot it saved, so very frequent edits may be grouped into one change.
